Who is responsible for what
Keenon designs the robot's physical safety features, including sensors used for obstacle detection and emergency stop functions, and is responsible for the product's compliance with the regulations that apply to it when placed on the market.
Fresh Mango Robotics, as UK supplier, carries out a site survey to plan safe routes, installs and configures the robot, and trains staff on safe day-to-day operation and how to stop the robot if needed.
The customer, as site operator, is responsible for day-to-day supervision, keeping routes clear of hazards, and following the safe operating guidance given at training and handover.
