Ways to pay
Robot leasing and Robotics as a Service (RaaS)
Buy outright, share ownership, or subscribe monthly. Choose the commercial option that suits your cash flow, budget cycle and appetite for risk.
At a glance
Outright purchase
You buy the robot and own it from day one. This suits organisations with capital budget and a long planning horizon. Support and maintenance can be added as a separate agreement.
Hybrid ownership
A mix of upfront payment and ongoing support. You own the hardware, with support, maintenance and software updates covered by an agreed plan. This suits businesses that want ownership without managing support themselves.
Robotics as a Service (RaaS)
A monthly subscription over a fixed term. The robot, installation, training, support, maintenance and software updates are included. RaaS is usually treated as an operating cost rather than capital spend, and makes it easier to start with one robot and scale up.
The trade-off is that you do not build ownership of the hardware in the way a purchase does.
How businesses evaluate ROI
- Hours of repetitive work the robot takes on each week.
- What those hours cost now, including agency and premium-rate cover.
- What your team does with the time returned.
- Your cash flow, budget cycle and preferred accounting treatment.
- How confident you are in the use case. Many operators start on RaaS and buy later.

- Initial assessment: send us 2–3 photos of your site, or book a call.
- Site survey: we check floors, route widths, doorways, lifts, Wi-Fi and charging points.
- Demonstration: a working robot runs on your floor so your team can see it in action.
- Written proposal: the recommended model, configuration and commercial option.
- Installation and mapping: the robot learns your layout and routes are set up.
- Training and support: staff are trained on site, with UK support afterwards.

Frequently asked questions
What is Robotics as a Service (RaaS)?
RaaS is a monthly subscription for a commercial robot over a fixed term. The robot, installation, training, support, maintenance and software updates are included in one fee.
Can I lease a commercial robot?
Yes. Robotics as a Service works like a lease with support and maintenance built in. We also offer outright purchase and hybrid ownership.
Is it better to buy or lease a robot?
Buying suits organisations with capital budget and a long horizon. RaaS suits those who want to avoid upfront spend, keep costs predictable and have support included. Many start on RaaS and buy once the use case is proven.
Do you publish robot prices?
No. Pricing depends on the model, configuration, support requirements and term, so it is set out in a written proposal for your site.
What happens at the end of a RaaS term?
Typically you can renew, upgrade to a newer model or return the robot. The options are set out in your agreement.
Can I rent a robot for a short period?
Talk to us about your requirement. We will advise on the most suitable option, starting with a demonstration on your site.
