What this robot does

DINERBOT T2 at a glance

The DINERBOT T2 is a Keenon delivery robot used in UK restaurants and hospitality venues to carry food and drinks from kitchen to table. An affordable way to cut labour cost per cover. Carries plates and drinks across a busy floor so fewer staff can run the same service. Fresh Mango Robotics supplies, installs and supports the DINERBOT T2 across the UK from our Yorkshire base.

The DINERBOT T2 is a three-tray delivery robot built for the ordinary UK restaurant floor: 40 to 80 covers, a single dining room, a kitchen pass at one end and a bar at the other. It carries around 20 kg per run from pass to table and returns with empties.

It exists to make the labour maths work on a site that cannot justify the capital cost of a flagship model. The T2 has no promotional screen, no premium chassis and no expressive face — it moves food, reliably, for the lowest cost per cover in the range.

That makes it the model we recommend to independents and small groups running their first deployment. Fresh Mango Robotics surveys the site, maps the floor, trains the team and supports it on contract from the UK — the same service you would get on a flagship unit.

Where this model sits in the range

The entry-level delivery robot for a standard restaurant floor — three trays, a low cost per cover, and nothing you have to pay for that you won't use.

Who it's for

Primary buyers of the DINERBOT T2

Independent restaurants

Single-site operators watching labour as a percentage of turnover, who need the saving to be provable before they commit.

Casual dining and pub kitchens

Volume floors with long pass-to-table distances where the running work is the bottleneck, not the cooking.

Small groups piloting robotics

Two- to five-site groups who want a low-risk unit in one venue before rolling out across the estate.

What it fixes

Problems the DINERBOT T2 solves

Labour cost per cover is climbing faster than menu prices
The T2 absorbs 4–6 hours a day of running, which is the cheapest hour on the rota to automate and the hardest to recruit for.
Front-of-house staff can't get back to the tables
Runs go to the robot; orders, upselling and service recovery stay with the people who are good at them.
Robotics feels like a big first commitment
Lowest capital cost of any full-size DINERBOT, and available on a monthly RaaS subscription with support included.

Business outcomes

What it does for your operation

The reasons operators sign off the investment — not the spec sheet.

The lowest cost per cover in the range

Three trays of capacity without paying for screens, premium finish or guest-interaction features you would never switch on.

Proves the business case before you scale

A single T2 gives you real numbers from your own floor — trips per service, hours saved, covers per staff member — before you commit to a second unit.

Cuts 4–6 hours of running a day

On a typical 60-cover site that is roughly one full shift of carrying work removed from the rota every day.

Trains in a single shift

One-tap dispatch on a touchscreen. Teams are comfortable by the end of their first service, with no technical knowledge required.

How it works

Built for daily commercial use

  • Autonomous navigation

Maps your premises once during install, then moves safely around staff, customers, and obstacles.

  • Simple staff controls

One-tap dispatch on a touch screen. No technical training needed.

  • Full-shift battery

Runs a full shift on one charge and returns to its dock automatically.

  • UK install and support

Fresh Mango handles install, staff training, and ongoing support as standard.

Use cases

Where it earns its keep

Independent restaurants

40–80 cover single dining rooms with a long pass-to-table run

Pub kitchens and casual dining

Food runs across a mixed bar and dining floor

Staff canteens

Tray service and clear-down in workplace and campus dining rooms

Choosing between models

Why choose the DINERBOT T2?

The T2 is the value choice. You pick it when you want the labour saving and nothing else on the invoice.

Instead of the T1

Choose the T2 when the floor has room. The extra tray and payload materially reduce the number of trips per service on a 60-cover site.

Instead of the T10

The T10 adds a 23.8" promotional display and a customer touchscreen. If you don't intend to run signage, the T2 does the delivery job for less.

Instead of the T8

The T8 is built for premium rooms where the robot is part of the guest experience. In casual dining that finish is spend you won't recover.

Every model is available in the UK to buy outright, on a Robotics-as-a-Service monthly subscription, or as a hybrid package — see pricing options or book a demonstration.

FAQ

Common questions about the Keenon DINERBOT T2

What does the Keenon DINERBOT T2 do?
The Keenon DINERBOT T2 is a commercial service robot designed for carrying food and drinks from kitchen to table in UK restaurants and busy hospitality venues. An affordable way to cut labour cost per cover. Carries plates and drinks across a busy floor so fewer staff can run the same service.
Is the Keenon DINERBOT T2 available in the UK?
Yes. Fresh Mango Robotics is an authorised UK Keenon dealer and supplies, installs and supports the DINERBOT T2 across England, Scotland and Wales from our Yorkshire base in Ripon and Skipton.
How much does the Keenon DINERBOT T2 cost in the UK?
The DINERBOT T2 is available to buy outright, on a Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) monthly subscription, or a hybrid model. Pricing depends on configuration, install requirements and support tier. Request a UK quote and we will respond within one business day.
Can I see the Keenon DINERBOT T2 working before I buy?
Yes. We offer free on-site demonstrations across the UK. Our Yorkshire-based engineers bring the robot to your premises, map your environment and run it on your real routes so you can assess fit before committing.
What support is included with the DINERBOT T2?
Every deployment includes site survey, installation, staff training and ongoing UK help-desk and on-site support. Remote monitoring, SLAs and on-site maintenance tiers are available for multi-robot and multi-site operations.
How many covers can a DINERBOT T2 support?
The T2 suits floors of roughly 40–80 covers. It carries three trays (around 20 kg) per run, which on a typical service means it can absorb the majority of pass-to-table trips for a single dining room.
Should I choose the T2 or the T10?
Both deliver food. The T10 adds a 23.8" HD promotional display and an 11.6" customer touchscreen, so it also replaces in-venue digital signage. If you won't use screens, the T2 gives you the same delivery outcome at a lower cost.
Can I rent the DINERBOT T2 rather than buy it?
Yes. The DINERBOT T2 is available to buy outright, on a Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) monthly subscription that bundles support and maintenance, or as a hybrid purchase-plus-support package. Most first-time buyers choose RaaS so the monthly cost sits against the labour line rather than capital budget. Fresh Mango Robotics supplies, installs and supports it across England, Scotland and Wales.
